LJI Accreditation Training

Mick and I have had a busy six months of LJI Accreditation training.  This has been really encouraging as it shows the innovative ways in which people are using the LJI for both assessment and development.  The training has been for diverse organisations and individuals:

  • an international consulting firm based in Luxembourg
  • a small independent training company
  • a large Fire and Rescue Service
  • a Head of HR in a Regional Housing Association
  • a Senior Director of Human Resources in a large Group of Academies
  • psychologists attending the British Psychological Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology Conference.

The training is as ever personalised and tailored to the organisational needs.  One aspect of the training has been the ways in which it has enabled people to make use of our psychometrics (the LJIs) alongside our other complimentary tools, the LJA for dynamic assessment, the CotD to support coaching and the PLDP for self-development.  The feedback has been extremely good – but why take our word for that?  Here is a taste:

Thank you very much for the training. You both have a wonderful natural enthusiasm for your work and that really comes across in your training.

Many thanks for the workshop – it was really useful and I’m looking forward to using the tool.

I would just like to say thank you both to you and Bob for the effort and expertise that you brought to the workshop. It was really informative, enjoyable and very well presented. I have learned so much from your training that will assist me in the future and I hope to use the instrument soon.

Thank you so much for giving up your time to deliver the training on Friday afternoon.  I found it really interesting and I’m looking forward to getting on and using the tool.

Just wanted to thank you for a very informative workshop on Saturday.  It helped me expand my thoughts around how we could use the profile tool and I was fascinated by the online coaching element.  As I said, our first chance to use your materials commercially will come when we pitch for a leadership programme next week.

In summary, I enjoyed giving feedback to candidates. I felt that the participants, their scores and the variations of face to face vs telephone and developmental vs selection feedback provided me with rich and varied experiences and learning opportunities.
